Virgin Islands Track and Field and Cross Country Team member Michelle Smith, a Junior at Montverde Academy High School, competed in the Florida High School Regional Championships in Weeki Wachee, FL on October 28, 2022. Smith finished 9th in the Region with a time of 20:44 in the 5K race. Smith helped Montverde Academy to a 4th place finish in the Region Team standing.
Smith’s next race will be the FHSAA Florida State Championship Meet in Tallahassee, FL on November 5, 2022.
