Behind every successful athlete is a dedicated support team, and the Virgin Islands Track and Field Federation is no exception. Currently, our small but passionate group of four individuals plays a vital role in the day-to-day activities that keep our federation thriving.
Each member brings unique skills and a shared commitment to fostering athletic excellence and community engagement. Together, we work tirelessly to support our athletes and promote the sport across the Virgin Islands.

President
Keith Smith Sr.
As the president of the Virgin Islands Track and Field Federation, I serve with tact, dedication, and precision.
I have over 37 years of continuous Cross Country and Track & Field Coaching experience in all levels of athletics experience from elementary to professionals in numerous schools and clubs.
General Secretary
Mireille Sankatsing Smith
I have a MA in Computer Information Systems and BA in Mathematics and Information Technology. My diverse skill set allows me to excel in all areas of our operations, from administration to technology.
I am dedicated to supporting our athletes and enhancing our federation’s impact within the community.
Strategic Director
Izabella Kurucz
I have a more than 15 years proven track record in Procurement at multinational companies. I have a passion for sports since my early childhood, and I finish my MA in Sport Economics this year. Having an old friendship with Mr. Smith, I offered my expertise to support the Federation.
Social Media Director
Mikaela Smith
I oversee the social media and graphic design for the Virgin Islands Track and Field Federation. I have my BA in Computer I.T with a minor in graphics design. With over 10 years of experience in athletics, I remain passionate about supporting athletes and delivering high-quality content.
